The Tutor Lab is firm in its belief that all students are capable of success. With this in mind, the Tutor Lab is designed to help struggling students attain the classroom success that they are striving toward. This includes teaching organizational habits, homework help, and giving more support in difficult subjects. We understand that all students learn differently and at different paces, so the Tutor Lab is committed to using different teaching strategies and methods to be able to reach all students.
In order to be prepared for all students, the Tutor Lab stays up to date with changes from the California Educational Department. Recently, California has started a transition from California State Standards to Common Core. According to Common Core's website, it "provides a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, so teachers and parents know what they need to do to help them." For this reason, the Tutor Lab will be using Common Core standards to teach material on our online tutorial program, as well with any one on one tutoring.
It is our sincerest desire that your child gets the education that he or she needs, which is why we hope you consider The Tutor Lab as a resource for any additional educational needs your child has.
